Description
A delicious appetizer made with spinach, artichoke hearts, and cream cheese, wrapped in wonton wrappers.
Ingredients
Scale
- 10 oz frozen spinach, thawed and very well drained
- 8 oz jar artichoke hearts, drained and finely chopped
- ⅓ cup mayonnaise
- ⅓ cup sour cream
- 4 oz cream cheese, softened
- 12–14 wonton wrappers
- ½ cup Parmesan cheese
- 1 tbsp garlic powder
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
- 3 cloves fresh garlic, minced
- Cooking spray
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and spray a baking sheet with cooking spray.
- In a large bowl, mix together the spinach, artichoke hearts, mayonnaise, sour cream, cream cheese, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, fresh garlic, salt, and pepper until well combined.
- Lay a wonton wrapper on a clean surface and spoon about 1 tablespoon of the filling into the center of the wrapper.
- Fold the wrapper in half diagonally to form a triangle, and press the edges to seal. You can also use a little water to help seal the edges, if necessary.
- Place the filled wontons on the prepared baking sheet and spray the tops lightly with cooking spray.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.
- Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce.
Notes
- For a crispier texture, you can deep fry the wontons instead of baking them.
- Feel free to add more spices or herbs to the filling for extra flavor.
