Description

A delicious appetizer made with spinach, artichoke hearts, and cream cheese, wrapped in wonton wrappers.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 10 oz frozen spinach, thawed and very well drained
  • 8 oz jar artichoke hearts, drained and finely chopped
  • ⅓ cup mayonnaise
  • ⅓ cup sour cream
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1214 wonton wrappers
  • ½ cup Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tbsp garlic powder
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste
  • 3 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • Cooking spray

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and spray a baking sheet with cooking spray.
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the spinach, artichoke hearts, mayonnaise, sour cream, cream cheese, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, fresh garlic, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  3. Lay a wonton wrapper on a clean surface and spoon about 1 tablespoon of the filling into the center of the wrapper.
  4. Fold the wrapper in half diagonally to form a triangle, and press the edges to seal. You can also use a little water to help seal the edges, if necessary.
  5. Place the filled wontons on the prepared baking sheet and spray the tops lightly with cooking spray.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.
  7. Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce.

Notes

  • For a crispier texture, you can deep fry the wontons instead of baking them.
  • Feel free to add more spices or herbs to the filling for extra flavor.
