This delicious baked brioche breakfast casserole features layers of bread, ham, turkey, and Swiss cheese, soaked in a rich custard.

- 12 cups brioche bread cubes
- 1 1/2 cups diced ham
- 1 1/2 cups diced turkey
- 2 cups shredded Swiss cheese
- 8 large eggs
- 2 cups whole milk
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
- 2 tablespoons maple syrup
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 2 tablespoons melted butter
- 2 tablespoons powdered sugar
- 1/2 cup raspberry jam
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
Instructions
- Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish and spread half of the bread cubes into the bottom.
- Layer half of the ham, turkey, and Swiss cheese over the bread.
- Add the remaining bread cubes, then top with the remaining ham, turkey, and Swiss cheese.
- In a large bowl, whisk the eggs, milk, heavy cream, Dijon mustard, maple syrup, salt, black pepper, and garlic powder until smooth.
- Pour the custard evenly over the casserole and gently press the bread down so it absorbs the liquid.
- Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or overnight for a make-ahead breakfast.
- Preheat the oven to 350°F and let the casserole sit at room temperature while the oven heats.
- Drizzle the melted butter over the top, cover loosely with foil, and bake for 30 minutes.
- Remove the foil and bake for 15 to 20 minutes more, until golden and set in the center.
- Rest for 10 minutes, dust with powdered sugar, sprinkle with parsley, and serve warm with raspberry jam.
