- 4 slices whole wheat bread
- 8 oz deli-sliced turkey breast
- 2 tbsp Dijon mustard
- 4 slices Swiss cheese
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter
- 1 cup Fresh spinach
- 1 medium Sliced tomatoes
- 4 slices Pepper Jack cheese
Instructions
- Gather all ingredients on a clean countertop.
- Spread Dijon mustard on one side of each slice of bread.
- Layer turkey slices evenly over half the bread, followed by Swiss cheese.
- If using optional add-ons, layer them now before topping with another slice of bread.
- Spread softened butter on the outer sides of both slices of bread.
- Heat a skillet over medium heat and grill the sandwiches until golden brown on one side; then flip carefully.
- Cover the skillet with a lid for 1-2 minutes to melt the cheese fully.
