Description

A delicious grilled sandwich made with turkey, Swiss cheese, and fresh vegetables.


Ingredients

  • 4 slices whole wheat bread
  • 8 oz deli-sliced turkey breast
  • 2 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 4 slices Swiss cheese
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1 cup Fresh spinach
  • 1 medium Sliced tomatoes
  • 4 slices Pepper Jack cheese

Instructions

  1. Gather all ingredients on a clean countertop.
  2. Spread Dijon mustard on one side of each slice of bread.
  3. Layer turkey slices evenly over half the bread, followed by Swiss cheese.
  4. If using optional add-ons, layer them now before topping with another slice of bread.
  5. Spread softened butter on the outer sides of both slices of bread.
  6. Heat a skillet over medium heat and grill the sandwiches until golden brown on one side; then flip carefully.
  7. Cover the skillet with a lid for 1-2 minutes to melt the cheese fully.
