  • ¾ cup brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt 1 cup of chocolate chips and butter until smooth.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
  4. Combine melted chocolate mixture with granulated sugar and brown sugar. Mix in eggs and vanilla until smooth.
  5. Gradually fold in dry ingredients until just combined, then gently mix in remaining chocolate chips.
  6. Scoop tablespoon-sized portions onto prepared sheets, spacing them about two inches apart.
  7. Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are firm but centers remain soft. Let cool slightly before serving.
