A simple and delicious roasted asparagus recipe.

- 2 bundles asparagus spears (washed and trimmed)
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 clove garlic (minced)
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoons Parmesan cheese (grated)
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice (for serving)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 420 degrees F.
- Wash and trim the stem ends of the asparagus, then place in a 9” x 13” baking dish.
- Add the olive oil, garlic, salt, pepper, and Parmesan cheese. Use kitchen tongs to toss the asparagus so that it is evenly covered with seasonings and oil.
- Arrange the asparagus in the baking dish in a single layer.
- Bake in a preheated oven until tender—about 12-15 minutes.
- Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before squeezing on the fresh lemon juice just before serving.
Notes
- This dish pairs well with grilled meats.
- For a variation, try adding lemon zest for extra flavor.
