Description
A comforting and hearty dish made with ground beef or lamb, vegetables, and creamy mashed potatoes, cooked to perfection in a Crockpot.
Ingredients

- 1 lb ground beef or lamb
- 2 medium carrots, diced
- 1 cup frozen peas
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 4 cups mashed potatoes (prepared)
- 1 cup low-sodium beef broth
- 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp dried thyme
- 1 tsp dried rosemary
- Salt & pepper to taste
Instructions
- Chop onions, carrots, and garlic; set aside.
- In a skillet over medium heat, sauté onions and garlic until translucent. Add carrots and cook until softened.
- Stir in ground beef or lamb with Worcestershire sauce; cook until browned.
- Transfer meat mixture to the Crockpot; add peas and beef broth. Season with thyme and rosemary.
- Spread prepared mashed potatoes evenly over the mixture in the Crockpot.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours until bubbly.
Notes
- This dish can be made ahead and stored in the refrigerator for up to 2 days before cooking.
- Feel free to add your favorite vegetables or other seasonings to enhance the flavor.
