Description
This creamy and delicious cream cheese frosting is perfect for cakes and cupcakes.

- 8 ounces cream cheese, (softened (226-gram package))
- ½ cup salted butter, (softened)
- 2 tablespoons heavy cream
- 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 3 cups powdered sugar, (sifted)
Instructions
- Using either a stand mixer fitted with a wire whisk attachment or a medium-sized mixing bowl (2-3 quarts) and a handheld mixer on medium-high speed, mix the softened cream cheese and softened butter for 2-2½ minutes until light and fluffy.
- Add the heavy cream, vanilla extract, and ground cinnamon. Continue mixing until well combined and no streaks of vanilla remain.
- Lower the mixer speed to medium-low. Add the powdered sugar ½ cup at a time, mixing well after each addition until your frosting is smooth and creamy.
Notes
- Make sure the cream cheese and butter are softened to room temperature for easier mixing.
- This frosting can be stored in the refrigerator for up to a week.
