- 8 oz whipped topping (like COOL Whip)
- 1 cup chocolate cake mix
- 1/2 cup hot fudge topping
- 1/4 cup heavy whipping cream
- 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips (optional)
Instructions
- Soften the cream cheese at room temperature for about 30 minutes.
- In a medium mixing bowl, beat cream cheese, whipped topping, and cake mix on medium-high speed for about 2 minutes until smooth and fluffy. Start on low to avoid cake mix poofing.
- Pour in the hot fudge topping and heavy whipping cream, then beat for another minute until well combined.
- If using, gently fold in mini chocolate chips to incorporate them into the dip.
- Serve immediately or refrigerate in an air-tight container for future enjoyment.
