Description

A delicious and healthy frozen yogurt made with berries and yogurt.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup frozen berries
  • 34 tbsp honey or maple syrup
  • 2 cups thick Greek or coconut yogurt, unsweetened (*higher fat is best*)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 tbsp cashew or almond butter

Instructions

  1. In a blender, combine all ingredients and blend until smooth. Taste the mixture — you can add extra sweetener if you’d like!
  2. Pour into your ninja creami pint & freeze overnight or until ready to eat.
  3. When ready to make it, leave it out on the counter for 20 minutes. This helps it thaw a bit and makes it easier to blend.
  4. Blend on “frozen yogurt” for a cycle. Add a splash of milk and re-blend on the same setting. If needed, you can do it once more.
  5. Add a drizzle of peanut butter and crushed nuts & enjoy!
  6. Pour the blended mixture into an ice cube tray and freeze.
  7. When ready to eat, let the cubes sit out at room temp for 20 minutes. Then add the cubes to a high powered blender with a splash of milk (preferably one that has a tamper so you can press it into the blades).
  8. Blend, stopping to scrape down the sides as needed, until super creamy & thick. Top with toppings & enjoy!

Notes

  • Adjust the sweetness to your liking.
